The descent-oriented features start with a 100% microdenier polyester ripstop shell that has both a light water-resistant coating and our Deluge® DWR (durable water repellent) finish to stop moisture and increase durability. Inside, a compressible layer of deluxe 600-fill-power down (the helmet-compatible hood is insulated, too) holds your heat against plummeting temperatures; chevron quilting throughout minimizes bulk and keeps the down from shifting when your body's in motion. A soft polyester lining glides smoothly over layers. Fleece at the collar protects your neck from overhead blowback, and the stretchy, removable powder skirt (with webbing loops that connect to any Patagonia® Ski/Snowboard pants) seals out snow at the waist.
