The Expedition model is a modified version of the Large Solo. The hull and front deck is identical, but the stern has a sealed off hatch compartment, making it ideal for multi?day expeditions and also for paddlers who need to carry a lot of camera or safety gear around. The Expedition Solo has been tried and tested on some of the most extreme extended river missions, and proved to be an exceptional kayak.
The rotomoulded plastic lid is held in place by two very tight bungee cords.
Underneath the plastic lid is a neoprene cover, similar to a spraydeck.
